Sunday Call Script

Hello Endeavour Families, this is Ms. Newlander calling with your weekly Raven update. Please remember if you miss any part of this call it will be available on the on the Endeavour Middle Facebook Page.

A big shout out to all our volleyball teams who are showing their Raven Pride on the court, especially our 6th and 7th grade girls team that is currently in first place.

Our next round of tutoring starts this week. For those who did not know, we offer tutoring in math and language arts from 3:00 to 4:00 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and the district is providing a bus for students that normally take the bus. There may be space available this session, otherwise, please take advantage of this awesome opportunity for the next session beginning in October. Sign up sheets are available in the office.

Changes, changes, changes. Due to small enrollment this year we have been required to decrease the number of classes we have. Many students have had schedule changes and all students have been affected by the changes. We know that change is hard, this was not something we anticipated and are sorry our students are having to go through this. We appreciate your support and patience as we have waded through this.

Reminder, all skateboards and scooters are to be turned in prior to entering the big gate. These items will be locked up during the school day. We anticipate this will prevent theft.

We are still looking for people to serve on School Site council. Meetings are about one hour and only one time a month. If you are willing to serve or would like to nominate someone please call Marla Osteen at 943-8270.

Safety is always a concern at Endeavour. With that in mind, students should not arrive until 7:40 and should be picked no later than 3:30 or no more than 15 minutes after their activities. When walking students should practice safety, follow traffic rules, and be aware of traffic. Parents, please be courteous and mindful of others, including students and please follow the traffic patterns . Remember, 45th Street is only two lanes with a turn lane. Please do not encourage your child to jaywalk across any street, especially 45th or K Street. Students are to walk bicycles to and from the school entry gate and students with skateboards and /or scooters are not allowed to ride them on campus. Additionally, because students and their safety is our number one priority administration will not be able to meet during lunches or fifteen minutes before school or at the end of the school day. You are more than welcome to make an appointment, leave a message, or wait until they are available.

The Booster club is collecting Box Tops for Education. They can be turned into the front office.
